My vision of the Family Practice rotation for medical students at St. Joseph Medical Center would
include direct hands on patient care opportunities in dealing with a diverse patient population.
Students would have the ability to work directly with all providers, attendings, residents, physician
assistants and nurse practitioners, and participate in treatment decisions. Students here work in a
comfortable, non-threatening atmosphere providing the best possible educational environment.
One morning per week is devoted to direct teaching and education geared to medical students. This
time also allows for direct feedback and allows opportunity for the students to become teachers themselves.
Other educational opportunities in areas such as specialty clinics, procedure training, nursing home
visits, homebound patient visits, migrant farm visits, and other student specific interests can all be
possible. Overall, this rotation allows students to gain a vast array of knowledge while learning traditional
osteopathic family medicine and even exploring particular interests along the way.
Dr. Bradley enjoys sports, traveling, scuba diving, pets, photography and time with his wife and son.
