My name is Trina Michael. I am a 3rd year, chief resident in the family practice residency program at St. Joe's in Reading.

I grew up in Williamsburg - a small town in central Pennsylvania about three hours from Reading. I have one younger sister who is a physical therapist. I have been married for 6 years and have 2 beautiful children. I attended Juniata College in Huntingdon, PA. Then, I worked for six months in analytical biochemistry before going to PCOM in Philadelphia for medical school.

I chose a Family Practice residency because it allows me to fulfill all of my academic interests including dermatology, women’s health, pediatrics, and most recently urgent care.

Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, going shopping, boating, hiking, playing volleyball, and working on projects around the house.
