About the St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation

More than 134 years ago, the Sisters of St. Francis and Monsignor Bornemann founded our hospital to provide much-needed health services in our community. They built the hospital with the commitment and support of local citizens who shared their dedication to caring for all members of the community. St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation is committed to honoring and building upon that legacy. Our fundraising efforts support building projects, programs, equipment and services that carries on a 134-year tradition of collaborating with others to help build a healthy community.

St. Joseph healthcare professionals are dedicated to the comfort of all patients, and they understand the importance of compassion in the delivery of care.

Our Mission

The St. Joseph Medical Center Foundation is a charitable, not-for-profit corporation created to support the mission and specifically the services of St. Joseph Medical Center. Working collaboratively with the St. Joseph Regional Health Network Board of Directors and the parent corporation, Catholic Health Initiatives, the Foundation Board establishes programs and policies to achieve the fundraising objectives of the Foundation, which sustain the mission of the Medical Center.
